2 years ago, I dynoed my '93 on a portable dyno. With only a Moroso CAI, Hypertech "Generic" chip, Taylor 8 MM wires, MSD "Blaster" coil, Splitfire plugs, MSD 7AL-2, Flowmaster "cat-back", gutted cat, throttlebody airfoil, 3200 stall, 4.10's, and ET Streets. No internal engine mods, stock, FPR, and exhaust manifolds.
I dynoed 268 HP at the rear wheels (best out of 3 pulls)!
The dyno was set up at my local track, and it was dynoed between a 13.0 second run and a 12.9 second run, so I know the car was running right. The car eventually ended up running 12.82 @ 106 MPH in that trim.
Anyone care to volunteer a theory?
Frank

My knock sensor was overreacting when I installed my headers, and I lost power. I had it deadened with LT1 edit but you dont have that option. Im not certain if you can use the LT4 knock module on the 93's but you might look into it. You might also check your MAP sensor, mine went out and the car ran like crap and only dynoed 265rwhp with full bolt ons.

I'd start with a basic tune up, and go from there. Plugs, wires, O2's, possibly a coil depending on the age of the current one, change the oil, ect.
