Question 93 blown, LTCC, ignition/fuel problem

I've been running a 93 Z28 with LTCC and a Procharger P1SC with 42 lb injectors with a custom tune for quite a while now. I used to run a NOS inline pump along with the stock intank pump. About six months ago I replaced the dying intank pump with a Racetronix 255 that utilizes its own power wire from the battery and only uses the factory pump connections as a trigger. The car has been running without any problems.
This week I decided to remove the inline pump because I should be fine with just the intank pump. I removed the pump and now the car doesn't want to run. I can hear the pump prime and see the fuel pressure increase to 40+. When I go to start the car it will start, rev once and then cease to run. When I scan it it reads DTC 042 which is a grounded ignition circuit. The car can be forced to run for a short time by feathering the gas pedal up and down. I ordered a new ignition switch ( at the base of the steering column) since mine is original and has over 173,000 miles on it, and I was told this might be part of my problem. All of the troubleshooting guides in the factory manual deal with checking the ignition module (that no longer exists in my set up). Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Is the trigger for pump priming and the trigger for "run" position the same?
