86,000 miles, think i should do the valve guide seals with the spring change?

well after going to three dealers in my area without succes in finding the seals i finally found one that did(only this dealer is like 45 mins away) so i said the hell with it and drove up there to get them Just to pay HOLY BEJEEEZOUS!! 67.50 for them!! I should have decided to get them sooner, i would have ordered them from gmpartsdirect. Oh well thats what i get for deciding to change the seals at the last minute. On with the rocker swap tomorrow

You must have wanted those badly.

You could have gotten a set of seals from Combination Motorsports overnighted for way less than that.

Ive never been to thier site before ,i guess i would of ordered them from combination if i had known sooner lol oh well too late now........

well i ran into my first problem allready, the raised guidplates i bought arent going to work with out hitting the rocker plus the people that made them drilled the stud holes off by an 1/8th of an inch grrrrrr so now i have to wait and hour before the local speedshops open so ic an see if they have the flat ones.

$8.48 actually, I just looked at my receipt.

SPE MV1888, .50 cents each. He counted them out of a box of 100.
