600 flywheel HP is more than you'd need in a street car. It's enough to get you in trouble in a heartbeat without exercising much restraint. Traction is non-existent, the car gets sideways & cross-up so easily, and the desire to show Z06's and exotics this power is too damn tempting. It's fun, but with it comes responsibility.

Lisa33: your car is a beast. The trap speed is indicative of good power and potentially better ET's.

 

SS MPSTR, I see you have ai heads and CAM tuning. Creech right? I think I may be getting my car tuned by him. He is only 2 hours away. AI is in NC too, as I am sure you know. How were both of those places' service?

 

Around here (a little north of you), even 400 rwhp would dominate.

Thanks, popular? dont know exactly how to judge that, I would say that most of younger car entusiast prefere 4 and 6 cylinders turbocharged european or japanese cars. But we have a lot of V8/us car entusiast here, It have been a huge import of cars from USA the last 5 year, thats beacuse easyer import rules and better exchange course $ vs our "krona"

SS MPSTR: Thanks, yes better times are in sight, have had big trouble widh the 4l60E this season, have to let of the pedal for 2->3 shift beacuse the tranny refused to shift correct, tried to floor it all the way but it hit the revlimiter hard (Listen on the second race in this clip) http://forum.camaro.nu/filmer/z28_040912.mov

Yep. Phil's heads, Jeff's tuning and a local-guy assembled 383. The services of all involved has exceeded my expectations. Jeff (CAM) and Phil & Ron (AI) are great folks to deal with and I have nothing but praise for their efforts, knowledge and service. They lead by example.

 

You might wanna double that if you're going with a 600hp NA LT1.

Hell, I'm spending over 7,000 for a forged longblock for my Lincoln. Mind you the 4V 4.6 can get pretty expensive in a hurry.

 

someone up there laughed at me when i said for the total price with everything would be around 50k but yet people buy 13 sec corvette's for 40k put 10k in mods and will never touch the 9's with 50k so i have to say i am very happy
