400RWHP+M6+spec stage 4+stock rear=boom?
Do you guys think for my application, (cam and heads now, maybe a forged 355/383 later) a Spec stage IV would work or should i spend the extra $300 for a street twin?
And can anyone make a recommendation on which material i should get for the spec IV? can get ceramic or kevlar i think.

I wouldn't know what to say, I'd stay away from Mcleod steel version if you love auto X, I mean don't take it from me, but DAMB! that thing is heavy I got one through a buddy & when I went to pick it up & almost broke my back I said screw this, its literally TWICE heavier, I think I weighed it in at 60lb while the stock assembly weighed 30-31lb or so, my setup now weighs 23-24lb total with alluminum flywheel & with my cam which is bigger then most of your hydraulic cams I manage no probs, stock or small cam the clutch was great with alluminum flywheel, if I was to do it over I'd get the mcleod alluminum version which weighs the same as the stock assembly but its biefier.
yes the steel is Heavy and if you auto x the alum. version is the only one i would go with.. If you drag race the car. You could benefit from either one!!.. 300 bux is a small price diff. to pay to do a clutch job Just once.. Trust me.. I had 4 SPEC"s.. went to a twin and haven't looked back.. best damned clutch i have seen out there for our car's.. As far as your rear goes.. The twin will break a rear on the launch, the 1-2shift, 3-4 shift as well.. Might wanna keep a stock clutch till you take care of that rear.. IT bite's.. when you dump it.. I snapped the output shaft on the tranny on nittos'... and another bonus to the twin is the fact it's only 325 to restore the thing to brand new!!! how can you beat that?
