400hp Head Cam for forged 383

Does anyone know a good combo that will get me into the 400rwhp club? I am looking more for a bolt on package that is already machined/ported etc.... Along with my sig, I am addding a 58mm T/B. Can I use the stock intake manifold (ported to 58mm of course) on heads like LE2, AI etc...? Thanks for the help.

You build a 383 with a LE3 package you'll be in the 400rwhp range easy. They are putting down like 430's rwhp on stock bottom ends with the le3 package and of course exhaust etc..

How streetable is the 383/LE3 package? On the website it said it came with heads/cam etc...I gather it is rather aggresive. Anyone using this package? I have heard nothing but good things about Lloyd Elliot.

i just put together a 383 with, le2 heads and an le4 cam. the thing runs great. you get alittle bit of cam surge driving around town, but on the high way, it rides almost like stock, until you nail the gas.

Awsome, thanks. Are you still running emissions? What are the specs on the LE4 cam?

LE2, LE3, AI 190, AI 200, TEA LT1 castings, TEA TFS heads, AI TFS heads, LE TFS heads, AFR heads, ect. Theres a bunch of different ways, I'de call up a bunch of places and see who you feel best with. With that being said I'm getting a custom cam from bret who makes the LE cams. And you will definatly make more power with ported aftermarket castings if you have the money.

I have the AI 200cc heads and SR cam in my 355. It drives like a dream. Part throttle tuning is going to make the most differance as far as driveability is concerned. Yes, you can use a stock ported intake.
