Re: 400 Smallblock in 95 Camaro

you may want to go to Summit tech line or go to an old Camaro forum to see what the guys are using that use 60's heads like 461 or some of the other "double hump" heads that don't have accessory brackets. I used to have an old Camaro that had double hump heads with no accessory holes in the heads and had to get longer alternator and A/C brackets for my accessories that bolted up on the block to the water pump bolts and power steering bracket. I ordered them from Summit Racing. Maybe these ideas will help you. Good luck. If you need any old style small block brackets let me know. I have 2 weeks before I go off to Army duty.

Thanks for the info and suggestions you guys. When I do this (which will be this winter), I will definitely take plenty of pics and have a page step by step on how and what you need to do this. It can't be that hard! I just hope I can somehow use the LT1 acc brackets so I can use the accessories after the swap. I want the air, power steering, and alternator setup just like it is if at all possible. All I would need to get would be an SFI serpentine balancer.
