3.875 Callies Stealth HUB BOLT UPDATE

Without going into details, I am in need of knowing the length of the bolt for the hub. Mine is broken off and the other half is gone. Callies (2001 era Stealth crank, 3.875 stroke) drilled the cranks further in to lighten the crank. So, a standard 2 1/4 ish bolt isnt the size in there.
I need to know, before I go to the machine shop or try to drill it anymore (I have been doing this with a left handed 90 degree drill in the engine compartment, and left handed bits, but extractors are able to get that deep or bite even with flutes), what the length of the bolt is. If you know, please help.
Sure, if you want to pull the bolt out and measure it, that would be great

Here is the engineering drawing of the crank hub section. You can see they drilled further than GM did on factory cranks, and deeper than many other manufacturers. I was told it does not affect integrity, and it was there to allow lightening, due to mallory? metal used to help balance it.

Shoebox shows the stock bolt part # as 9440024

Googling that number found this reference:

http://www.marineparts.com/partspages/OMC/OMC16.htm
17 9440024 BOLT, 7/16-20 x 2-1/2"
That's what it shows for the length. Might be a good idea if someone could confrim it. Why would they put a longer than stock bolt in the hole? It doesn't have to bottom out.

I have a 3.75" Callies Stealth crank, manufactured in 2000, but I also have an ATI damper, and I did not assemble the engine, so I have no idea if they even used the stock bolt or an ATI bolt.

It's drilled 3.509 to 3.529 deep but is tapped 3.247 to 3.287 deep, I would think the bolt wouldn't be longer than 3 inches deep, you don't want to bottom out plus there is probably a washer under the bolt.i would use a 3 inch long bolt.
