do most people run a flat top piston with valve reliefs??im looking for JE srp but dont know which is best for a 396 with a small shot of nitrous.looking to run about 11.5 to 1 with a 5.85 rod.any part numbers?? thanks

 

Call SRP. They have a 14cc dished off-the-shelf piston that will work in that application. With 54cc heads, Felpro .028 head gaskets and zero decked block should get you 11.5:1 CR.
