383, Ai LT1 Heads/Intake, SR = 9.97@138+ (Video)

A nice NA run with Ai 200CC Heads/SR on Rick Abears Car. Looks like the bar is still moving!

And some said it couldn't be done.

Damn 491rwhp with their 200cc LT1 heads and manifold. Who needs AFR or TFS?

Tell him to lower the wheelie bars and keep it on the ground and it would be even faster.

Wow. That is very impressive. Almost makes me think twice about wanting to slap a blower on.

Ai and Rick setting the bar higher...again. His car is a fine example of what one can do with well matched parts, nice cylinder heads and perserverence to make all the little things right.

That's funny... Last time I talked to AI they said Jordon Musser's 3650lb raceweight 401 SR doing 10.8's @ 130 "couldn't be done..."
I was going to do business with them and fork over $3000 for their custom heads for my new setup... until they told me that.

Didn't Jordan's car do that on a 200 shot?

He never did a full 1/4 pass on nitrous since he did not have the proper safety equipment. If I recall his best n20 pass in the 1/8th was a 6.4 @ 112. I can't recall what size shot he used.

Anyone notice the small bungs for temperature sensors to be put in each individual header primary? That would take a ton of tuning to get everything dialed in like that, but it would be way more dialed in than anything anyone could do using a wideband O2 setup. The car is extremely impressive, but misleading, IMO.

So is he using FAST? Pump gas with full interior too. -Just kidding! Either way it's freaking ridiculous!
