Stick with press fit pins and locks, floating pin locks have a tendancy to come off. If a floating pin lock comes off consider your engine done. Any luck on the piston.

After all my years here and on tech, I have never read where anybodies bushed piston clip came off and took out the motor. What is your personal experience to claim this "tendency"?

I spent 4grand on my forged 355 build we used speedpro forged pistons and eagle forged crank and connecting rods we ported and polished the heads and intake lt4 hotcam it turned out pretty well and i had enough left over for richmond 373 gears in the *** end lol maybe u could look into that unless u have found otherwise
