Need help fast on LT4 springs install

I have the LT4 springs, key lock kit, spring cap kit and 16 valve seals. I was quoted $200 to install the LT4 springs along with the 1.6 GM rockers. Is there any more labor or time involved in having them also install all the new seals, caps and keys? Do I need shims or anything else to do this right and does it matter that they are all LT4 parts going onto an LT1 head? I want it perfect so if there are more things to replace while there doing it, I would like to know now. Thanks for all the help to this point and any more I get.

LT4 springs use a different locator than come stock on the LT1, I am assuming you got a complete kit? If they quoted you that for the spring change, it should include all the parts you listed.

i used all my stock valve parts when i put the LT4 springs in....as far as them changing valve seals, its very easy to do and shouldn't cost anymore to swap them out with new ones

What is a locator? I ordered these out of the 2009 GM performance catalog and these are the part numbers. 11/32 valve stems Key Pkg kit #12495503, LT4 valve stem seal # 10212810 16 individual, LT4 valve spring cap kit #12495492 SUPERCEEDED to part #19171528 and LT4 valve springs kit #12495494. There is no complete kit for just a spring change that I am aware of for the LT4.

I used the stock LT1 spring locators when I was running LT4 springs.

Spring locators are what the spring sits on. You can reuse the factory ones. Replacing the seals is just a matter of( while the springs are off) pulling the old seals off, and slipping the new ones on.
