I ordered a line-lock for my M6 car so I could do a better job of heating up some nitto 315's. I've been dissapointed with how they hook-up at the track (but never could/tried to hold the foot brake). What rpm should I be able to launch and dump the clutch?

How much will getting these tires really hot help?







(BTW, got the 12 bolt w/4.11, LCA relocation brackets, spohn TA, !front swaybar)

 

if u cant hook with the nittos, y not go with some mickey thomspons man? u got the 12 bolt so it shud hold. u wud grip much better w/ some mickey thompsons, or something similar to them.

Oh they are on the list, but I'll need the line-lock for them too.

 

o, and to answer ur other question...yes heating them up will deff. help. y else would every1 else do it??? even if u hold the e-brake and warm up the tires on a honda it will help.

I have heard contradictory info that heating the dr's dont help much but that didnt make sense to me. I even saw guys driving around the water traps at the Texas Motorplex.

 

i know that it will deff. help to heat them if u have mickey thompsons or something similar to that...i wud imagine it wud still help tho w/ a DR... im sure sum1 else will drop in and help u out here.
