Is 30ft/lbs on cam bolts "okay"?
Is 30ft/lbs on cam bolts "okay"?
I didnt know the spec, and was in a hurry, and just put a small dab of thread lock and 30ft/lbs on the cam bolts, you think that it will be okay?
Would too much torque put unwanted stress against the thrust plate?
Thanks,
james

They'll be just fine. I think the recommended torque is 18 ft-lbs. or something rediculously low like that. I usually torque mine to around 25 with a dab of blue loctite in case I want to remove them later.
