Post Will LCA's help me?

Currently my best time at the track was a 12.7 at 108, my 60' was 1.85 with nittos. I have to launch easily or I just spin and the rear end flys out to the right. Besides subframes and a strut tower brace the suspension is stock. Will LCA's help me at all? Are they worth it over relocation brackets?

Experiences please.

LCAs wouldn't hurt, as well as some stiffer shocks in the rear. KYB AGX are realtively inexpensive - less than a $100 each from Summit. You can stiffen them up for the track and adjust them down for a pretty comfortable ride on the street.

But I would say your biggest issue is tires. Nitto's are OK for a mostly stock set up. But, with H/C you're probably laying enough power down to overwhelm them. It's time to step up to set of ET Streets or Hoosier QTPs for the track.

Good Luck

LCA's and SFC's helped me very much. Other than my sway bar removal, that is all I have done to my suspension and cut 1.6X every time.

I've had major traction issues since I jumped to a larger converter. Wheel hop & spin big time. I already has G2 LCAs and figured a set of HALs in the back would get rid of the hop & spin. Well the HALs cured the hop, but I was still spinning to upper 1.6 60' times. I just installed a set of BMR bolt-on relocation brackes and the difference is huge on the street. Unfortunately I just toasted the transmission so I'll have to wait a week to see what it does at the strip. Judging by the way it did on the street, I'm sure my traction issues at the track are history with the brackets.
