how much does this affect my performance?

i put about 10k on my engine this way...

will my et drop at all?

and could this be why i had a misfire code?

Yes

Yes

Hard to judge how much performance you lost, but I'm sure you definitely lost some power and your fuel economy suffered as well.

I missed the one about the misfire code.

Can't help but wonder what the 2 cylinders look like.

So you were driving around a v8 with only 6 cylinders firing... And you still were getting mid 13s... I hate you.

lol it will fire and run kinda on 8 but its like one cylinder has 30 deg. of timing pulled and the other is detonating...this is very bad....

Don't worry, many people have done this...I did it after heads/cam swap 6-7 yrs ago..Only I swapped #6 and #8..Car seemed to run great, no hint of missfire..Was down on power though cause I could barely beat a stock ls1....Installed the wires to the correct cylinder and ran the same ls1 and beat em by 6-7 car lengths, lol..

Those plugs are probably black and need changed..
