$200 is what I paid.

Don't forget to get a new reluctor ring if you want your ABS to still work.

The thread starter has a automatic, like me! And I'm trieng to paya ttention to the pro's here, but I'm still confused. I'm not thread snatching here, but could someone tell me what gear I should run with:

95 Camaro 350 (non lt1) w/ turbo 350, lowered 2" w/ 18 inch wheels w/ street tires and a .440 lift cam? Need a stall?

I just wanna run the streets! and I have the stock 2.73 gears that came w/ my 95 . Thanks!

3.73's are goin to make it easier to launch on sticky tires(wont bog as much). and they do not hurt your gas mileage as much as u would think. get the 3.73's if u want to go fast

through 2 pages of replies, still no one has showed any proven e.t. improvements from going 2.73 to 3.42/3.73.
my best 60' is listed in my sig and i have 2.73's. there was a guy there with 3.73's that same night on a stock 93Z and he ran a 13.98@99mph. so either his engine was stronger than my 97 Z or his gears helped him. ever since that night, the track/weather has sucked and i'm averaging 2.23 60's and 14.48 e.t.'s with the same mph, 97.5. i would like to see some numbers and see if gears really make that big of a difference. no one has posted any before/after times.

Once again, I probably won't compare to anyone, but I just installed my crane cams HI-6S and LX-91 coil, did a 14.07 / 106.1 on the g-tech meter, that was limited traction in first and spinning when second hooked. (windows open, tailgate up, and lifted to hit a turn).

Good luck man, If you are going to get into the rear and pay the money, get 3.73s, if you are worried about mpg, get 3.42s, but you'll always wonder what it would have been like w/ the 3.73s, trust me, I experienced this before.
