Wow, that's pretty cool.
I have been thinking a lot about that truck after those 2 encounters.

Just curious, what does it run/ put down?

I'm assuming you drive the Red SS that was behind it?

Must have been me. I'm the only Sy/Ty around here other than my bosses and his hasn't run all year. Anyway I think I remember your car. Licsence plates say madwolf dont they? I was hoping you'd pull over so we could talk but then you went off toward 88.

Yep yep! That's the one.
I remember seeing the a pillar gauage pod and it sounded like a Caterpillar loader, so I chickened out.

We'll definetely talk sometime. I was in a rush that day (near 88). License plates are madwolf.

Nice numbers, your making me want a cam now, Ion! I just might have to adopt your cam and see what I can do with it on my M6.

Very Nice ION

I better see you ay byron this year running that car!

I got my car all apart awaiting my new parts

My car specs:

227/233 cam on 112 lsa .560 .569 lift wit 1.6's

Ported heads by MPG (engine shop in highland park)

Possible 2.00 intake 1.56 exhast valves

1.6 rrs New lifters springs Pushrods

#30 lb accel injectors (free)

AFR and probly a 58mm tb

But i got midlenght headers to your LTs

Well deff have to make some side by side passes

Im curious if my cam is going to be too small, but again i have the stock bottom end still and its got 113k on it i dont wanna rev it too high.

Im deff gunna have to keep in touch with you for when it comes to my programing needs

Good thing you put down some passes with the car befor it was blessed with high performance parts. it ran a 13.90 didnt it? (sorry it was a while ago i dont remeber too well )

Also whats the lift specs on that cam? and im assuiming its on 112 lsa?

Also hows the idle sound over stock?

i think thats it for my ?'s

-Mike

Hey Mike,
the cam specs are: 233/239 duration, .569"/.577" lift, 112lsa

Here's a sound clip I posted before of the idle/rev. It's quite a bit louder than last time you saw it.

I think you'll be just fine with the 227/233.

I also figured out why the car only ran 13.90 before the cam/headers...
The front calipers are sticking and you can barely turn the wheels. I'll just get some LS1 brakes this spring.

Awesome. lol, is that the storage place in the video that you work on the car. I saw your pic of your "workshop" on another thread. What? did you get kicked out of your neighborhood with that bad@ss sounding car?

Hehehe.... yep, that's the same place where I did my engine swap, stall install, hooker LT and cam install.

I actually ran into the owner while I was adjusting my rockers yesterday. It started to snow and I was under the car turning the crank with the door open. He was like and then I talked to him for a minute or two... didn't seem angry or anything.
