I am interested on what this would do to the powerband of a 224/230 cam. Would it pull the power band down or raise it?

If the ILC (intake lobe centerline) remained the same, the power peak would be raised to a higher RPM.

Thats a good article, it pretty well proves that if you increase the overlap and keep the intake lobe centerline the same the peak will move up.

Remember ILC is just as important as lobe seperation.

Lobe seperation is a function of the other specs.
