1LE intake elbow question

94 A4. I just replaced my ripped stock elbow with a 1LE. I ordered it from Jason Cromer, gave him part # 25147187 which I got from a thread on this board. When I was swapping them, I noticed a difference. Right in the middle of the bend on top (not on the outside where the sensor plugs in) there's a molded hole. It's not an accidental hole it's like on top of a cylinder shaped protrusion. Did I order the wrong one?
The hole wasn't on my stock one, so I plugged it with a nipple from the old one and some epoxy.

The proper number for a 1994 1LE elbow is 25147210, but just plug the hole as suggested and you will be fine.

I filled mine with black RTV. let it dry overnight and you'll be good.

Thanks, I plugged it before I even started the car and sealed it with epoxy. Appreciate the feedback guys.
