1LE Intake Elbow

I just saw some thing on ebay about it. How many horsepower can you expect from replacing the intake elbow?

IMO, expect none. It is really not a performance mod.

The only air flow difference is in the removal of the silencer tube. Not enough there to make much of a difference, IMO.

BTW, how much is he selling them for? You can get them at dealer wholesale for ~$45.

Your car already has an elbow but not a 1LE elbow. It simply has the air silencer removed. You should get one only if your current one is torn or if you plan on installing an electric waterpump.

I doubt it will make too much horsepower, maybe 1 or 2 especially if your existing one is already cracked like mine and creating a massive vaccuum leak sputtering the idle up and down unless I cover the crack :-)

My 1LE arrives tomorrow! Goodie Goodie!
