I was wondering if the front lip of the 1LE elbow was shortened ~1/2". Looks like the lip was cut off and the hose clamp was moved back. Then there are grooves on the top so the clamp will seat. Is this normal? Thanks!

AFAIK it should look exactly the same with the exception of the silencer.

 

Thats exactly right, I still have my stock elbow and it looks identical to the 1LE minus the silencer. Except the massive crack in my stock one, the 1LE doesnt have that .

 

i want one, but dont wanna give farking almost 100 bux for that thing...

there is a chrome one i saw, it looks sweet, but again, i aint paying 100 bux for it :P

 

The Trick Flow one looks nice and so is the Vortech minus the partition in the middle. The 1LE is nice for what it is, got it for $60 from Thunder, To make up for it being rubber I sprayed Eagle 1 on it (the really shiny tire spray) and it looks good enough to me, good enough to not fork out $90 or so for the solid elbows.
