If you read any of Treyz28's material, he will tell you a stock bottom end will take 150 shot all day, and the more I read and research the more I believe him. For boring the engine and porting I'm guessing you'll have someone do the actual work? My advice is to get your hands dirty. Do a top end rebiuld, have a good machine shop do the heads and valves for you, but you do everything else. It's not that hard, just nuts and bolts. You'll gain a few ponies just from that plus gain appreciation for you car. Then while you're there, throw in the CC305 or 306 depending on what you want, some RR's, better plugs, wires, LT's, just the usual's, and drive that for a while. I wouldn't worry about the bottom end for now. IMO with a stock setup they are bulletproof. Mt 93 has 180000+ and it's holding fine. Then when you do decide to S/C, rebuild bottom end.

My friend...150K miles; last 25K he's ran a 150 wet shot. No problems. Our cars can handle this all day. Our rears (on M6 especially); however...

Also...(cc306 on stock heads 12.7@115mph)...I can't get that fast...but not that impressive for that cam considering my friend was running 12.40s with just shortys, RRs, exhaust and weight loss. Course, I've talked with Saint...he's got MAJOR tranction issues...a stronger rear and some ET streets and that time will be cut considerably.
