Removal and reinstall is covered in Shoebox’s cam removal and install writeups.

In the removal, scroll down just below the Opti vent and mounting links:

4th Gen LT1 F-body Cam Removal

In the install, scroll down below the water pump diagram link

94 has the center spline driven opti which needs the corresponding splined cam gear, make sure that's what you have. Removal use a puller it works good, be sure not to press against the crank threads. Install use 7/16 x 20 threaded rod and pull it on.

Post a link to the timing set you got. If it does not have the spline drive cam gear, it's not going to work (if you still have the stock, non-vented opti).

Looks correct for the spline drive.

Ok, well i also read that i have to take the oil pan down in the front a bit, i remember now the last time that i did this the gasket broke, and i have no way to replace that because im in the driveway, i may now have to just replace the opti instead of do the whole job right. Thank you again guys for all the help, this car is gonna be nice and hopefully be fun to drive when its all done again.
