To get started on helping you:
What year is the LT1 engine, PCM and harness?
Have you scanned it for codes?
Have you checked for spark - at the coil? ..... at the plugs?

all your sensors plugged in? Air temp sensor on the intake elbow would keep it from starting easily.. Check for a blown fuse to the PCM. If I recall, there are 2 wires for the PCM to provide 12V..

You indicate you have 44psi fuel pressure. Since the engine is not running, I assume that is the pressure the pump primes to. Check the harness connector for the Optispark distributor. If that's loose, corroded, or has a bent pin, it can set DTC 16, which shuts down the fuel system and prevents the engine from starting or running. Scanning it would turn up any codes, like DTC 42 for the white wire to the IC Module, which can also prevent it from starting.
The IAT sensor doesn't really affect much of anything on an MAF setup (94-97)... not like it would in speed-density (93). Should not make it harder to start. Coolant temp sensor is more likely to be a problem in that respect.

just looked at the harness it ok , I have a key that plugs in under the dash but win I plug it in the s/engine light wont flash. maybe my pcm is no good? but I went out and got that new coolant temp sensor and nothing. but now the car backfires.
Re: 1994 Camaro V6 swap to LT1 - Need LT1 help
You indicate you have a 94 PCM. You can't flash the codes on the SES light by shorting the ALDL pins (which is what the "key" does). The last year that worked was 1993. You need a "real" OBD-I scanner, or scanning software like TTS DataMaster.
Re: 1994 Camaro V6 swap to LT1 - Need LT1 help
Was your "scanner" an Actron 9001, that cost $30? If so, all that does is short the ALDL pins, and as already explained, that will not work. Actually says it will work with 94, but that's wrong. Or did you get a combination OBD-I/OBD-II scanner? They can have problems with setting up the correct engine info in OBD-I mode, or they can be looking for +12V in the ALDL connector, and there is none.

went yesterday and got a new opt and car fired right up. now car sounds like its nocking
? will the ac pump do that if the hose not hocked up?

The A/C compressor (your "pump"?) shouldn't even operate if the A/C system is not fully charged. The PCM monitors the system pressure, and knows there is none = A/C clutch does not engage.
