Ever since i have gotten my 94 camaro i have had problems with it backfiring at 5000-5900 and only those rpms (this happens 9 out of 10 times but sometimes ill get lucky and it wont at WOT). sometimes when i am on the highway it will act like its fallin down to 4 cylinders for about 2 minutes then gain all power back (this has happened only twice). thinking my opti was grenading i bought a different one and still no fix, i have changed plugs, fuel filter, ignition wire. and now have taken on another problem - it started fine after 1-2 seconds of cranking before i switched opti's last night and now it wants to crank for 5+ before it will turn on, even when it does start it revvs to 2k then dies several times over and over again (IAC coincidence?). soon as you put it in gear this problem stops and never have any driveability problems......

this is a pain in the *** to troubleshoot.
