1993 lt1

How good is a 1993 lt1 out of a firebird how are the in comparison to a 1996 lt1 in a z28 as far as power will i notice a diffrence for i am putting one in my 96 z28

Basically the same engine as far as the block and internals, but you will need to swap over parts from your 96 like the intake manifold, fuel rails, injectors, timing cover with CKP sensor, vented Opti, oil pressure sensor, and knock sensor. To do the vented Opti swap, you need to swap the timing set and the cam from your 96.

If your 93 engine has the stock cam and you are going to use the vented opti setup from the later engine, yes.
