Temp rating has nothing to do with 'prong count'

The temp rating should be stamped into the stat somewhere, usually the bottom..

I have 2 180's that I just looked at and they are stamped on the bottom as that..
My 160 is in the car so I can't check it..
I have never seen a t'stat that wasn't marked somewhere on it tho?[look harder..

The Hypertech has the marking hidden on the bottom, down inside the "hole". I had originally thought is was not marked either.
The "prongs" are merely a design discretion of the manufacturer and don't have any significance that I know of.
