i cut 13s with regular radials, and after some changes to the car, 12s (and that happened to be with the nittos)... but my posi was already shot so i wasnt getting better 60 foots bc of the nittos, although i would have if the posi was ok...

it all is going to matter on your power/gearing/suspension/driving..

while its more difficult, you can run street tires for anything up to probably high/mid 11s before you are just plain spinning more than you are racing, lol

hey bro i know 14 is possible because i have a 94 z28 bone stock and i have run 2 13.9's a 14 flat and a 14.2 heres the slip info from the 14 flat

60ft 2.099
330 3.896
1/8 9.022 @78.66mph
1000 11.728
1/4 14.027 @97.84mph


also i run my tires @ 21psi (my tires dont have much tread left either)

I run in the 12s on street tires so 14.0 is defintely possible.

I was getting 1.9 to 2.1 consistent 60' times with cheap Falken tires. That was with no burnout and 32 psi pressure.

It could be that the track that night for you was extremely poorly prepped or not at all.
