you have to consider which rearend has the best % of power loss too. i cant remember which one it is but i think its a pretty big difference.

from what i read, the 9" has a lot more parasitic loss than the 12bolt..........that is why most people get the 12bolt unless they are putting out close to 4 digit power.

so does anyone know of someone who has used one of these 8.8 rear ends? For $500 less without the weight and power loss I think it's the way to go
