I agree right here, drop 3 tenths of your sixty foot and youre well into the 11s. get some real tires and remove the front sway bar at the track.

Honestly, if you can't afford to do these mods, you should save up some money. If you spend $$ to get your car to hook, your rear end is going to snap, then you won't have any money to fix that. Just get a dyno tune and save up for some real mods, (longtubes, true duals, 9", suspension, ect...)

my friend with a stock suspension camaro and LT's hits everytime he tries to get in my drive, so ground clearance IS my problem, lol. I wont be at home for much longer, then the long tubes come

the only reason I dont care about beating the hell out of my 10 bolt, is because I have another one sitting in my driveway for when it blows. so not a big deal eather way.

why not tune the car and get it to run to its potential before changing anything else.

ET is effected by 60' mph is effected by HP.

Re: 12.35 @ 114....whats next?

just got back. 12.5, 12.6 and 12.7's all day long with 2.2 60 foots. NO track prep because it was a "street racing" event. I dont understand it though, they didnt prep the track because they wanted it to be more like the street, yet I get better traction on the street.

The finals they gave out no times or slips, which was the best race I ran of course. I lost to a 12.0 car that ran that letting off, by 3 lengths.... 2nd isnt so bad though when there was about 50 cars.

Suspension mods.
Aftermarket torque arm and LCA's. Also do yourself a favor and tie the subframes before you try to get it to hook up.
Good luck with the 10 bolt.

I have over 50 mid 11 second passes on my 10 bolt with sub 1.80 60 foot times on every pass. Sure it would be nice to fork over 2500 or so for a good strong rear, but when I can pick-up another 10 bolt out of the junk yard for 300$ why buy the big one?

The original poster is driving an M6 car. Manuals are known to be harder on the rear ends. It's much easier to gently preload the drivetrain with a stall (which I see you have), so of course yours will last longer.

That engine don't seem to be right.Ya should be in the mid 11's with a full weight car.

GET IT UP OUT OF THE WEEDS,box the LCA's and put in bushings, put the correct springs and a Spohn TA and double adjustable shocks all the way around. When ya get ready to start, PM me and I will tell ya the springs and shocks to buy. YES ya can drive it daily but ya can't do any road racing. It is as usual driving on the Interstate.

yeah, suspension is obviously the next step. LCA's first. Shoot me some names I can start looking for.
