no way man.....

A 240 cam and a 10.5:1 motor can't do that.

Don't know what to tell you.I refigured and came up with the same numbers. Try another program.
No way you can have 10.4 and a that big of a cam and come away with 9.02.....

On the otherhand, I will try a different calculator..

update: I think I figured out what I was doing wrong. I was entering 48.2 for ABDC, but I think thats at .50 I think I need to use "77" like Bret suggested earlier, but how do you get that number?

The 77* is the number I gave you. I have a cheat sheet,it has cam duration and ICL with the advance and it gives me the IVC degrees.Also my program gives it to me on the read out.

deenasty, youre in the same boat Im in. I bet I have roughly the same 383 setup you do. I use 16cc dish SRPs as well. my cam is a 242/248. my dcr comes in at 7.5:1. I can't do anything to change it cause I don't have the cash so it goes together as is
I do however have the mr gasket head gaskets that are .026 so that helps a small amount.

I will however keep this all in mind for my next project
