low RPM miss

I just had my t56 conversion done along with an msd 6al 30 lb. injectors poly mounts. And the car runs like *** below about 2500-3000. Once you get above that it runs good. The idle is all over the place, It wants to vary between about 700-1100 and is running VERRY rich at idle. The shop said they tryed leaning it out and even put in 34 or 36lb. injectors into the program to try to lean it out more. They think it was a problem that was there before and the 6-sp. is making it more noticeable. Posible but I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem like this. This thing is unbarable on the highway, It just shakes the whole car b/c of this miss. PLEASE HELP

Re: low RPM miss

This sounds like a tuning issue. As long as your ignition is running properly, I would say its the tune. Who tuned it?

I would try a mail order tune and see if that helps.

Re: low RPM miss

the tuner is really well known around my area for doing a damn good job tuning. They are convinced that the spline for the opti is off a tooth. This place seriosly knows their sh** But i'm just looking for 2nd opinions
