11.48 ET on second hand LE2s
Also about the power adder in N/A thing maybe next year if you want to run N/A there can not be a kit at all on the car. We looked over the cars at tech-in and tried to notice nitrous kits that were not hooked up but signed up for N/A. We allowed that and hoped for honest people to not hook them up while running N/A. I guess that opened questions to other racers. We learned a few things at this race that will benifit next year.
Ran the first pass on my new setup at the LTx Nationals with some good results. Heres the set up...
LE2 heads (second hand with 10k miles)
292xfi cam (also second hand, DCR at 9.1)
30 lb SVO injectors (going to 36 soon)
Ported LT1 intake
JE pistons (final static cr is 12.3, 0 deck with a .039 quench)
383 cid
3600 Fuddle on a owner built 4L60E
3.89 Ford 9"
PCMforless base tune (wot timimg very soft, 33 deg)

Everything else on the car is basic stuff. Car ran 11.48 @ 118 mph on a 1.57 60'. Its got more in it by way of tuning and shift point changes. (shift points were just below 6200 rpm and the verter was going into lockup around 100 mph) Hope to get it to 11 teens (maybe even a high 10 pass with a stiff tail wind!!) before I unleash a 150 shot on it! Not bad for an owner built car with mostly second hand parts!

Good times! What part of the country are you from and what track do you race at? Start planning for the shoot-out next year, the event this year was a lot of fun and Tony and his people did a really great job hosting it.
