109.5 MPH Traps ->

OK just went to the track and I have to start out by saying the traction was TERRIBLE. I mean I was spinning in 3rd, not just chirping either. Oh well next time I will get a set of bfg's.
First run:
1/4 time 13.733
Trap 109.54 MPH
60' 2.396
Second run:
1/4 time 14.046
Trap 109.43 MPH
60' 2.552
What would my car run with decent 60' times?
Plus what would it dyno?
We don't have a dyno here

109mph and a 14 sec run thats crazy
id say get that 60 down and some traction you could see some 12 second runs

I could almost get a better 60' by pushing your car haha. If you can get those down you'll see 12 second ETs for sure.

109 mph is an easy 12.9X with a substandard 1.9X 60-foot. You need to get that car out of the hole. I'd guess your dyno numbers to be in the 325-335rwhp range.

I would also say you should be closer to 13.00 with that trap speed.

Back when my '97 was trapping 109.5, I ran a 12.6 @ 109.5 on a 1.8x 60'. The car dynoed 336 rwhp. This was with a cc305 cam and stock heads on a 6 speed car.

Re: 109.5 MPH Traps ->

When I first installed my cam(224/230) I went to track that you could spin 3rd gear on and I ran low 14s as well but only trapped 105-106 mph with a 2.5x or worse 60'. Once I got to a decent track with some sticky tires I ran a best of 13.05 at 108.5 with 2.166 60'. So as you can see just getting the 60' down and keeping your tires planted during shifts will help tremendously!

You've got more in the car.
Your 60' time SUCKS...tire/suspension or combo of things needed to get that down and once that happens should see some 12.5's or so.

I was trapping 110mph and running 12.3-12.5 with a 3.23 gear so good luck on that 60' time.

You're making 39Xrwhp/38Xrwtq, and trapping 110? What were your 1/8 mile times?
