I ran a 180 for a yr and did not have a problem. I did blow the motor when my tranny let loose at 140 mph on the freeway. Broke the crank and 3 rods and alot of other stuff. But I will run a 180 all day long on a stock lower end with the proper tune. LT1's love juice.. PILL IT TILL YOU KILL IT......

things thats goana kill it is the one biu stge off the line which loads the motor a lot...how about leave on 125 and hit another 50 at4500-your shift points? or see where the car drops during each shift on the 1st stage and set it for the lowest rpm...heck might even hold another 75 if you do it that way..kills them is the huge torque spike...
thats all assuming the tunes dead on...
