1.7 rr's with cam?
on my 383 can I put 1.7 rockers on it to get a little more power, or will I have clearance issues?? is this worth it for maybe 5-8 horses? this would be with the 847 to make it like .610/.632 lift. thanks.

why not just get another cam with the duration/lift you need. the 1.7's put too much stress on the lifters/springs.

Like said above probably not worth it...not sure if it would work either. Just get a custom cam made for your 383.
