1997 Trans LT1 Moisture Issue..HELP!!!!

ok guys......

1997 Trans am LT1, unmodded.... automatic.....54,000 on the odometer

when it is cold or wet outside, the car will not run....

it turns over, idles very rough for a second, then dies....

after it dies, there is a vaccuum sound for about 5 seconds, possibly the fuel pump?

funny thing is, there is no check engine light. and sometimes if i jump it, or wait for a few hours, the car will fire up just fine.....

just replaced the battery and MAF sensor, and checked the alternator. All are good....

what could this be??? please help! this is my daily driver....

Re: 1997 Trans LT1 Moisture Issue..HELP!!!!

did you check ALL vacuum lines? there's on on the opti that runs behind the accessory drive belt and into the factory elbow. check to make sure that's plugged in for your opti. check to make sure there's no corrosion on the maf plug ends.

do you have fuel pressure? do you have spark? how old are your wires/plugs?
