New rockers and valve springs at the least. Many guys use the LT4 valve springs (which reuse factory retainers, locks, and seats). You'll also need to trim the interior of the valve covers to clear the 1.6s. A good set of rockers are $300+.

Typical gains are around 10-12hp.

If you did springs as suggested, it would be about $400 give or take. Going to a full roller rocker from the stock stamped pieces is one of the best bolt-on modifications IMHO. You lose friction, heat, and imprecision, and get more valve lift in the process. The new springs will make the swap a lot harder, but yours were probably shot a long time ago, and that will seem to wake up your engine as well.

You may or may not have to trim your valve cover supports a bit, some do and some don't.

I prefer the pro-mag chromoly rockers over the aluminum. They are stronger than aluminum.

You can run a 3/8 stud S/A rocker and not have to upgrade to 7/16 studs and guideplates. IMO if youre gonna change springs, might as well go studs and guideplates whiles its apart.
So heres a list:
1.6 pro mag non sa
7/16 studs
GM guideplate or isky adjustable
Valve springs

You used to be able to by a crane 10308 valve spring set the was perfect for this swap. Not sure on its availability anymore.
