I am installing my Mac headers on Saturday. Since I need to take out the spark plugs and all, I was thinking I would put in the 1.6rr that have been sitting in my room for a year. I intend on doing a Cam (probably a cc305) in a few months. I am goin to redo the springs and pushrods than. However, can I run the 1.6rr on the stock srpings until than?

 

you can do that, but it is easier to install them if oyu do springs as well.
