I think my next mod will be 1.6rr. What will i all need? What kind of springs should i use? I plan on doing a cam down the road just not right now.

 

Poeple have run 1.6 rr with stock springs, but that's too risky IMO, LT4 spring kit is a good and cost effective. If you have your mind set on a cam now, then go with whatever springs are recommended for this cam, otherwise LT4 springs.

 

Definitely figure out what cam you want to use, then use the springs for it as mentioned. WILL save time down the road.

 

Good time to replace the valve seals while you have the springs off.
