02 sensor install q
Go
I need to replace the 02 sensor before the cat on the passenger side. Should i replace both the driver and passenger though to keep them the same brand? Also how hard are they to replace and what brand should i get, and what tools will i need to replace it?
P.S. I know i have a 02 problem because i took it to auto zone and they checked out my ses light.
I'm also having a missfire problem and a rattle sound when i get on the gas. Any idea what may be causing that?

I would change both of them with the stock Delco.Call Jason Cromer.About $80.00.Buy an O2 socket from an auto parts. They can be hard to get out.If you have a small propane torch heat around the senser and remove.Or start the car for 2 minutes, dont burn yourself.Could be your miss is O2 related,or plugs, wires, opti, coil. The rattle might be a heat shield or exhaust pipe.
What was the specific trouble code that AutoZone found? There are a few "O2 sensor" codes that can be caused by problems other than the O2 sensors. If you have the code, it might tell you if its definitely the sensor, or whether you need to look at something else.
