Hey guys another prob wit my LT1 it's back...running strong and steady...but today after replacing spark plugs ....and distributor cap....I put antifreeze back into the radiator..well after driving a little over 20 miles...my hood begin to smoke...finally I stopped and smoke was only coming from the left side of car...near freeze cap...second later I felt the coolant cap and you could feel the liquid boiling over...what's wrong and wat should I do?

Could be air in the system. Try here: http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2.html#radflush. Or could possibly be your thermostat isn't opening.

As stated above, try bleeding air out of the system.... If it wasnt running hot before, thats probably it....

it could be the radiator cap, but you always need to bleed the system after something like that

You should have a bleeder screw. Thats definately your culprit, I was having the same problem. A guy told me that if an air pocket forms, the coolant may not be "touching" the thermostat and not triggering it to open. Also might not be letting your fans come on. Don't bleed it with the engine running though. When I did it I couldn't even tell any air come out of anything but worked fine after I did it. Good luck.
