[edited] spittin from the overflow tank!!
Car heals itself lol
I drove it again and it runs at 190-210. I will make sure I buy that fan. I guess once or twice a month the car acts stupid and over heats. Been doing this for almost a year. Changed everything but the thermostat and the fan switch. Then if there is still a problem im gonna buy a new water pump because when you rev it when it overheats it cools it down real good or if you throw it in Drive instead of Overdrive. Im not stupid just kinda broke now because of the winter I was meaning on getting a fan switch. I will prolly be back here agin next month will it goes haywire again. This problem varies so im guessing its a faulty part that doesn't work somtimes.
to the OP: I couldn't decipher all of the thread, but have you ruled out that the coolant flow is not being blocked or restricted somewhere? Is the radiator original? Have you had a lot of junk/crap build up in the motor before changing the water pump? (I think I remember you saying you replaced the pump) (?)

Nope
Never changed the wtaerpump if your wondering. When I have time and money im gonna check if the waterpump is shot. How do you know when your water pump goes? Symptoms are annoying and seems like out of the blue once or twice a month. It runs even cooler now and its hot out I thought it was going to over heat going to work.I just sweat everytime I sit in a stop light not knowing what can happen. I just wanted some advice because I don't have a lot money to spend on the car. Car just has to last me another year or two before I send the block to Golen and make her a 383 with afr heads.
why dont you go back and read suggestions made by folks - you
keep repeating the same thing over and over without responding
to what you've tried.
before you get a chance to drop $5,000 on a short block and heads.
