I was with my brother when he took his 02 Z28 A4 2.73's up to 155. It was still in 3rd at about 5900 tpm. Thats with 265/40's on 17's.

I don't know about you guys.. but during a race 150 seems almost instantaneous. I raced a car once and when I popped 5th and kept going when I looked up and I was doing just about 150, I let off. It only felt like I was doing maybe 120. I think my car could DEFINATELY do 160.. I wouldn't be surprised if it could hit 170-180 with a little modification to body gaps, etc.

Hit 6200RPM limiter in 5th, no speed limiter, 3.42's, slight decline, german autobahn. You do the math.

i dunno what is up with that. i had no problems at all running into the speed limiter (and hard) with just a gms and catback. of course, my car is lowered by about 1 1/4", which will reduce frontal area and help keep a fair amount of air from under the car, both which help the aeros out.

i had the top speed raised to 255 mph (as if!) and have run the car to about 300 rpms higher than with the limiter. so i am guestimating about 170 mph- and still pulling!
