Ls6 intake manifold, does it really help?

I put on the SLP headers, loud mouth, all the free mod goodies and all, 4.10, Speed Inc Dynoed my car at 333HP AND 343tq to the rear wheels. Not that i'm complaining, but what difference would LS6 intake make other than freeing up extra air to allow it to go to the engine? And also what about the EGR, how would that be adjusted to accept the new intake? Anyone pop one of these bad boys on your cars?

thanks for any info, what other mods are known of other than getting into a CAM that would allow for maximum output of horsepower without getting into a CAM. At least not yet, I put 800-1000 miles a week, yes that means I change my oil every month, so gas mileage is a plus, but when I buy a beater I will switch the CAM, other than that, any other feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I still cant figure out why spend all that money and labor time just for small HP gains- I would have to see 20+ HP at the wheels before I buy something like that.

if you had a 99 or 00 and you have heads and cam you would see over 200 and believe me little things make differences later on but go right on thinking that

Lets see- heads, cam and LS6 intake= a gain of over 200 HP??

im still thinking its a waste of time to spend the money on a LS6 intake for 1-5 HP gain without changing the heads and cam.

obviously i meant 20 and with a bolt on car your gonna gain 5 to 15 hp depending if you get a tune, but like i said you keep on thinking that way. When you skip the little stuff all your hard earned money and cash will be wasted when you skip some little thing and never get the results you want.
