Z06 with LS1 intake??

ok my question is, what is needed if a LS1 intake is put on a '01 Z06?

The reason why is because my friends vette is going back to the dealership and i was going to get his LS6 intake and put it on my SS. I already will be getting the coolant pipe kit for my car so it will work. The thing is, if I put my LS1 intake onto his vette, what is need to make everything complete?

Dont do it. Wouldnt you be pissed if you found out someone swapped out the LS1 in your SS for a 5.3?

well he works at a dealership and has the GMPP pertection plan. He is going to say is intake is cracked and get a new one ordered. (he gets a lot done through that warranty). So we figured why not swap intakes since he can get another one for nothing

This man is a thief and a liar, you should examine whether you really need him as a friend.

Thumbs down

That's just wrong and is no different than insurance fraud.

For example, manufacturers have to factor in warranty costs when setting the price of a new vehicle and people who cheat the system like this make everyone's new car costs go up. Sure it might be a fraction of a cent but that is money that coming out of MY pocket and everyone else's for someone's dishonesty. Not to mention, there is always more than a few people out there who do that and suck for ruining it for everyone. It adds up and can apply to this situation. I don't see how people can justify doing that and honestly say that it is "okay".

Totally agree. Someone will have to pay somewhere....a scam is a scam no matter what level.

Your "friend" is a cheater and a liar and it sounds like you want to join him. I hope I remember your name - if you are ever selling any parts I will be sure to steer clear. Once a liar, never trusted in my book.

Most definitely. I cannot believe that the OP admitted to such things in the first place.

Hey Mdacton,
I am going to rob this bank tomorrow, want to help?
Lets get everyones opinion on Cz28 of the best way to do it. Lets get a poll started.
Ski mask, or Halloween mask?
Automatic weapons, or just water pistols?

Also, if anyone has a problem with my posting of this then...
Just forget I mentioned it.

You admit to doing something wrong and act proud of it??? Are we supposed to be impressed with you?

If you really think you aren't doing anything wrong why don't you post the name of the dealership?
