Things to check:

Exhaust, make sure it's tight and the hangers are all in place

Heat Shields, make sure they are tight and not rattling against the floor pan

I hear ya man, I despise my car, poorly designed, spent too much money just making it drivable, and it keeps getting worse and worse.

I think I know what your talking about, sounds like your driving the fastest $30,000 piece a crap out there. Theres a ring that goes around the o2 sensors where the "loom" connects to the sensor, i tried squeezing it with some channel locks (didnt work all that good). im going to try some aluminum tape though, i think that might be a good one. other than that, i think it may have soemthing to do with the cats, so im going to get rid of them. headers w/ off road pipe. thats the only wayt to go.

I was pissed about the noise at first, and now the paint, bubbles and such. They have to do with each other in bringing fourth that whoever built it is a POS.

To back up my claim that these cars are crap, I breathed a huge sigh of relief when my SES light went off today, because I actually meant to fix it. Literally 10 seconds later I hear a LOUD banging from the rear, the slightest bump will make bang like hell, and I checked and everything looks ok. I'm going to call the Chevy dealer and have the come pick it up and tow it because I fear for my life when I'm driving this thing.

Ferocity02: Sounds like your catback is loose.

J3ff, sounds like your dealer is giving you the runaround... Bubbles? Maybe you can qualify for a new paintjob under warantee from corrosion damage.. and make sure you wax your car carefully..

I beleive in silent majority.

Trust me, it's not that, I checked everything I could touch or reach. Hopefully I will get a better look when I install my axles.

If you all hate your cars so much why do you still have them?

And as for any black car... you're always gonna see every little imperfection or speck of dirt. If the original paint job is defective, get it fixed. But 99% of the dealerships out there aren't gonna take the time to give you a repaint that looks like it should have from the factory.

No our cars aren't inexpensive. But for the price we paid, the competition was definately a lot worse. If you want flawless, mirror smooth paint, a refined drivetrain that sounds like a Ferrari, handling like a Porsche, reliability of a Rolls and styling of a Lamborghini... it'll cost a lot more than $33,500.

I think you both have beautiful and rare cars. But if you don't enjoy them, maybe it's time to move on.

I would sell my car in a heartbeat, but it is so crappy it won't bring in any money. I don't expect my car to handle like a Porsche, or have the speed of a Ferrari, I love the handling, and I think it looks awesome, but GM could of spent a little more time building a car that doesn't have so many problems. I paid good money for it, I expect something that doesn't have as many problems as it does. at least 80% of posts of this forum and LS1Tech are asking about problems and weird noises. At stangnet the majority are about mods and how to go faster. Many say that the Camaro is a far better and more reliable car than the Mustang or Cobra, simply not true by any means. You might be saying, well your mods probably messed up your car. None of my car's problems could be related to my mods. I noticed several problems with my car just on the way home form buying it, which it was bone stock, warped rotors, broken window motors, rattles squeeks, the whole package... End rant

Did you buy that car BRAND NEW??? so you're saying that BRAND NEW off the lot it had problems, because man, if it isnt brand new, then you've got to consider how the previous owner drove the car. You must not have talked to too many people about the mustang, because they are nutorious for having problems (esp transmission related). The camaro is a VERY reliable car, and if driven with care it will last for many many years. The people with the problems or noises have most likely messed something up with mods. how to make a mustang go faster is a laugh!

Man, sorry about all the scratches on your car, I can really see how that would be a problem on an all black car. Your car still looks sweet from a distance. I wonder if all those scratches are just in the clear coat? maybe turtle wax could take those out with one of their premium wax jobs. I have a few swirlys on my black trim that goes over the roof.
