Well, will they? I'm wanting duals on my SS, because they sound oh so bad *** on my 95. However, I dont want dumps on this one. I'm going duals over the axle, and I'm running them both over the passenger side. What are the smallest diameter pipes I can use that will still be superior to a single 3"? Thanks guys.

All else being equal, like mandrel bends, same length tubing, etc, 2 pipes 2.25 dia should flow equal to or slightly better than one 3 inch pipe.

If you compare the inside areas, you'd need a 3-1/8 outside diameter to be equal, but with the extra "wetted area" of the 2 x 2.25s, it's just about equal to a 3 inch. Two 2.25 high flow (like Dynomax Ultraflow) mufflers will probably be freer flowing than one 3 inch, and quieter. Mufflers are generally the most restrictive thing in the system behind the cats.

You might consider some sort of H or X crossover ahead of the mufflers.

Definitely going with some type of H-pipe on the SS, it sounds really good on my 95. I might try and get 2.5 inch pipes to fit, but at least I know that if I have to go 2.25 I can. Thanks!
