went to a car wash today, when i started driving after, the spidometer and the RPM didn't work at all, all other guages worked even the milage one worked.

stopped at a red light, turn the car off and back on, everything back to normal ?

any ideas ?

My car did that to me ONCE almost a year ago, and it was the weirdest thing!? I think I had just left my house, and I was turning from one road onto another, and while I was waiting to turn I looked down at my dash and thought "gee, the odometer looks awfully dim?" (no backlight). Then a minute later (can't believe it took that long!?) I realized that the speedo and tach weren't working either?!?!?!? I can't remember what happened next, but I think I might have pulled in for gas, and when I restarted the car after, like you said, everything was back on as normal. It's never happened since, so I have NO IDEA what that could be????
